Yes, I once ordered the ABS brake booster by accident and I remember having to jack the engine up on that side to get it in and the rod was a different length. It was 1" larger than the non-ABS one.

Makes sense why you didn't have to hammer away lol.

It was damned scary driving with the vibration lol.

Videos did no justice, but I tell you, the higher the RPM, the louder and faster the vibration got.
Every increased RPM would shake the the whole car.

Swear if my car was a rust bucket, it would've knocked off all the loose rust from one first gear pull lol.
