i havent read many post, but how much time did that art work took you?

around 8-9 monthes .......only working on it when i had spare time.

to give you an idea.....hood, driver front fender, and front bumper took about 5 days when i was trying to finish it for the wfc meet back in march.

Just when you think theres no spots left to sharpie the car you find a spot somehow its amazing, truly a unique car ! So how do you wash the car ?

no he has said he touches it up from time to time. if he put clear on and tried to redo the clear after it peeled it would ruin whats underneath.

everything is freehand except for the gun and the game over....i drew the gun on in pencil first and then went over in sharpie and i taped up the hood and drew out the game over and cut out sort of like a stencil.

yes, i am that good at art.....lol

clear causes sharpie to turn purple. clear will flake off over sharpie eventually. clear will cause the sharpie to run and blur.

washing is the same.....i wash it once a week. i dry it as if it were any other paint job.

washing and rain will fade it somewhat over time.....but the worst thing for it is the sun. sun bleaches sharpie ink. there is the other reason for no clear....... the sun will fade it through the clear and then there really is no way to fill it in.


so, i just suck it up and fill it in every so often. i call it a labor of love.....
