i could not keep the engine and buy this car, it was either or and come on guys im trying not to get bit by the modifying bug on this car.........
too late, im going to pic up some angel eyes headlights on saturday, all i can say is that i know why those asian cats love these cars, the tranny feels very secure, (since its rods instead of cables) and that 1.8 fills up with $14, and it lasts a while, here in gwinnett i have to keep low profile cause these dudes out here steal integras like nothing
yesterday when the streets were sill kind of wet i was trying to burn tires in the parking lot, with the accord i never got passes 1st, but in this car i made it to third and rpms never dropped below 6k, imagine that with the vtec b18, and an lsd tranny and sticky front tires..... u know the rest
if money was no object i would do the H2B swap, H22a with short geared lsd b series tranny, someguy on here named 93lx or something like that has that in a civic, i know he loves that crap, and he had the H22 rebuilt and stroked to a 2.4, thats o lot of money but you get your moneys worth,
next for me do the timing belt and waterpump

anyone driven one of those 02 maximas with the DOHC 3.5 V6 matted with that 6speed manual? my cousin just got one and that car is pure INSANITY,
its ludicrous, i took it to i 85 north around 11am today, hwy was pretty empty and as hard as i tried i could not make it to 6th gear, i was doing 110 in 5th and it felt like the car was just yawning at me, the engine was under no stress whatsoever, and it was bone stock, that car is fast, excellent response time, i think its the same vq35 in the 350Z except the tranny is different for fwd

oh yeah, i was gonna sell my ride for one of those maxi's, and hell yes they are fast. I still want one but I also want to keep my cb. Im about to graduate from college soon so maybe I will get a max(a newer one) or stay in the honda family and get a TSX or TL type S. And Champ thats my B-day weekend so depending on if I have my engineering design project done by then I will roll.Comment
