90 to 92-93 Bumper Conversion

hey ya Diy ers any of yall have pix on conversions of 90 bumpers to 92-93 bumpers how does it look is it better?
i'm thinking of doing the conversion but rust is one of my priorities right now so..
just asking if yall prefer the 92-93 bumpers better than the 90 ones.

it's pretty straightforward

you also have to get the 92-93 grille too though, I think, since the 92-93 bumpers have a slight rise molding to them in the middle

as for the looks factor, I'd say the 92-93 bumps look better than the 90-91's, but it's all a matter of personal taste

I just like the the bumper lenses look on the 92-93's and the grille looks cleaner and it looks hotness with oem foglights

the difference will simply be the bumper. you either like it or you don't. don't make the question more difficult than it is. the front ends of cb7s basically look the same, except for the bumper.

The rear bumper is also a little different than the 90-91, the lowest lip part flares out a little on the 92-93 and is rounded on the 90-91, I never realized how much of a difference it was...if I didn't have fogs I would do the bumper swap myself.

I am doing the 92-93 front bumper conversion. I just like the 92-93 front bumpers better for some reason (and the fact that I will be able to have amber turn signals ).

I plan on doing the conversion also and purchase a brand new 92-93 bumper. But is it true that new bumper covers come without the mounting brackets and could i just use the ones from my 90-91 bumper for that?

look all you need is:
92-93 front bumper
92-93 bumper lights
92-93 corner lights
92-93 headlights
92-93 grille
and thats it; just use all your factory bolts and your set.

i have 91 accord, with 92-93 front bumper you can still use the 90-91 grill no other mods needed!!!

yes and no . it will stick out a little and might have to cut/ shave a few pieces here and there.

I was wondering if you could still use the 90-91 OEM heads and corners. I have projectors just like yours too and a 92-93 grille. I understand that I have to get the bumper lights though.

You can, but the curvature/overlap isn't going to be right. I believe the projectors were based off a 92-93 headlight though.

you'll be fine, you just cant mix and match yrs with corners and headlights
