NEED HELP! what kind of body kit is this?

what kind of rear bumper or lip is this
ive been looking all over but cant find a body kit or a lip kit that looks like this

it might be from another car and just modified but i think it fits too perfectly to not be cb7

any ideas?

my first guess was the Sonora rear bumper

They're HORRIBLE with customer service, and they're known to send the wrong part (then give you a hard time about it.) One of the staff members here actually got an entire body kit for the wrong car.

it looks kinda similar but definitely not the one, that's a typical body kit bumper

Every time I see those in person, they look pretty flimsy.

Correct. The rear bumper in that picture is known as the Buddy Club Diffuser rear bumper. It was an early 2000s kit that was produced in very small numbers. I only know of 3 rear bumpers (I had a chance to buy one back in the day but didn't have the $$$). It's a fiberglass CB7 rear bumper top with the bottom of a Buddy Club rear bumper molded together. The body lines on that kit are much different than the generic "Buddy Club" rear bumper you can buy anywhere else.

The pictures used in that ad are from Rory's Hybrid Accord page, which is an old Yahoo Geocities website. The page is gone now I guess. I saved the pictures from the site though.

EDIT: Here we go

http://replay.waybackmachine.org/200...78/ryanli.html

That Accord has been long since parted out (or so I heard). If you notice the rear tail lights, they're not like any red/clear lenses that commonly exist these days as they were one off pieces.

if thats the case then maybe this bumper we r looking for might also be a very rare bumper from a body kit that was discontinued.

tommi seems to have made some friends!
it reminded me of the tsx rear bumpers with the reflectors in the bumper.

Sides aren't right.

That original picture isn't from an Accord in the US. I believe that car is from Malaysia, so who knows what local shops over there may produce.

It may also be a retrofit from another model we don't get in the US. If you can search the DME Thailand site (where those Accords are) you might be able to get a little more input.

Whatever it may be in the original pic, it's bad ass.

Without a doubt one of the cleanest I've seen.

For the last day or so I find myself looking at this bumper more and more, the more I look at it the more I try to break it down into its original pieces. We can all see the standard accord bumper in it with possibly the addition of a lip kit to the rear. Finally would be the addition of the tsx like retro fit, maybe from an actually tsx bumper? The thought is not that far fetched, this is definitely going down in my idea book in hopes that I could either recreate this look or one similar cause it is a honestly a sick look to the accord rear and a welcomed one in my book
