It's the reason for buying the Accord. I'm doing a makeover this year. I've had it since Jan 01.Originally posted by Maple50175

Here's the current pic of my BMW..That's a PShop mock up on the sig. I have a larger version that looks cool.
Thanks for the comments on the sig.. I do sigs for guys on the forums I hang at and I've worked in Pshop for about 10 years.Last edited by akrodha; 02-16-2004, 12:58 AM.

That's the thing about euro tuning.. it's freakin' expensive, just because. There's no reason why a superchager for a stang or honda is 3500 or less and for my e46 it's about 6500 and you don't really get that much extra, if you do.
19's on the current pic, MVR's. I'm selling to a friend for 400 bucks with tires. he'll drill them to fit his eclipse.
I'm getting new 19's, but they haven't been made yet. they are still in r&d, i'll get to be the first to have. they are made by dpengineering, multi piece with black center 5 spoke splits.. 3.5" lip in the rear and polished lip.
my car has a couple other prototype items on it, exhaust for one from UUC. i ended up with 1 of 5 made, they didn't make the style i had, they made an uglier finished product, so i consider it lucky i got this one. it's the twin canister type.

your bmw is gorgeous!
make sure to take a look at the member's ride section. if/when you get pics of the accord, post them in there. unfortunately, you can't post pics of your bimmer in there. but you can post them in the import section.
again, welcome.

envy, nah.. just appreciation for cars. my car is mild compared to some of my friends who pay 42k for the car then add 30k in upgrades.. I can't compete with that. it's like the first thing you do is buy an expensive car, then throw away everything from the wheels to the interior and restart. seems almost more economical to just buy the unibody and build it from there..lol.
like most of you i love all cars, i'm not biased toward any platform. i have a honda, a bmw and a ford galaxie. but the ultimate driving machine is pretty much right. i love the way that car drives and performs. i sold my 94 Mustang GT vert for it and now i'm considering the new GT so i'd sell the beemer for the gt.. funny.
I'll get pics of my accord up sometime this week. it's bone stock right now, but i've built it in my head for weeks now, even before i bought it.
nice wagon, hamann's are nice. there's a guy building a pretty wicked wagon right now with 19's and a s/c.
great site with great info.Last edited by akrodha; 02-16-2004, 11:34 PM.
