You need to understand that in any community, there will be asshats. There are over 5000 members here, some of us are cool, some of us are whiners, some of us are racist pricks, some of us are.. .You get the picture. It's a microcosm. Occasionally it seems that the bad outweighs the good. I've been here a year or so, and it's a good site. I'd given up on finding a decent Accord forum and was sorely missing the Corolla site I used to run until I found this one. I've gotta say that if you're not enjoying the site, either go away and come back later, or stop reading the posts you don't like. I also think you're mistaken. I've been reading threads and posts from way back in the day, and there was a lot more flaming and asshattery going on then. Things that would definitely get you banned now. Like real life, things come and go. You deal with it and you move on. I understand that you're a long term lurker. That's cool, but if you aren't a contributing part of the community, you really don't have the right to bitch about it's problems.

I guess you're right. I should contribute more if i want to comment. but i guess i'm more of the if there's nothing to say don't say it cloth. or at least think you before you say it. thanks for actually taking time to post a thought out response. you know-thinking about what I said beyond 'you wanna hug people on the internet'. kudos.

off topic used to kick ass man and yeah it did feel like every one got along pretty well too but ass hats are every where some grow up to be them and some are born like them and esp. with this information age where the higher wit is king every one is trying to momic each other. I liked it better back in 06 too. The only good thing i have found out in this forum is BISIMOTO. but i mean hondafan 4thgen and a handful of people that post here to not only help the community (asshats now) and make a self journal for the world to see is cool in my book and i wont own my cb any longer but while i had it i respected people doing builds and such.

I hope that I articulated myself in a correct manner. i really just wanted to put it out there that there are people that don't feel that they have to be complete assholes over the web, just because they don't know someone in real life. I dunno just me. I mean you wouldn't be talking to someone at work and be like - oh looollolllool. you're a fuck tard. i am better than you. go kill yourself.' there are rare occasions where that would be likely and i'm just pointing out that the opportunity for anonymity should not directly coorelate to subhuman behavior.
