well i just picked this up at walmart today and wow it blows all other NFS games i have played out of the water ... hell the view and feel IMO in better than any other car game i have played ... the one thing im not sure on yet is actuall car specs compared to RL ... i have only run 3 races in the S2K that i chose to start with

I was thinking about picking that up. My favorite car game is Forza 2. I can't wait until Forza 3 comes out. I heard it will have a CB7 in it

IMO The way the cars handle in Forza are so realistic. If they had a better wheel set up like the Logitech G25 , it would be sick. The Microsoft wheel sucks. The Logitech wheel has pressure sensitive pedals, force-feedback, a 900 degree turning radius, and even a clutch!

Did you get it for PS3 or Xbox 360? If you have it for PS3, you definitely should check out the Logitech G25. It is so realistic its crazy. Here is the link:

i got it for 360 ... no ps3 yet (i think that will be my christmas but not sure yet) ... i think it released either yesterday or today ... i got the last copy our local walmart had ... the in cab view is amazing you can see driver mirror, rear mirror, instrument cluster and steering wheel just sitting there but you can also use the right thumb stick to look around to the passenger side and mirror, up at the cieling, down to the pedals and shifter its just insane ... im trying to get the hang of using the right thumbstick to look around when im sliding or drifting through a turn

I played a bit more on various difficulty settings and the in cab view feels amazing through most of them ... turning does feel a bit stiff though and beware of having too much power in rear wheel drive cars lol ... they spin out easily ... another thing i like is the 2 driver types ... precision and aggressive ... most of my races have fallen into a more precision point than aggressive but there is a satisfaction to spinning out an opponent and watching him spin past and into your rear view lol

I just installed this yesterday and played it for a little while. I forgot how much I missd the in-car view! They had it in the first few games in the series, then it went away. So I used the hood view to try to simulate in car.

I'm really liking the game overall! Good job EA!

I just checked it out the video for this game on the ps3. Shit looks like a serious driving game for the first time. Some of the new views are sick and even gran turismo can learn from this. - like when ur drifting that you can look through the passenger side. -m a driving sim junky so the other need for speeds disgusted me, I gave em all away after - bought em. I know this won't be on gran turismos level but I think its gotta be worth picking up regardless. Anyone kno when it drops for ps3?

i am pretty sure it is out for all systems (that it was released on) ... just a matter of finding it ... overall feel and tuning is no where near GT or forza but it still handles well and the view is the best i have seen so far

I thought this game looked like dogshit.

Most Need for speed games blow in my opinion, but I might check out shift, simply because it's not the average NFS. It's all new, so I'll give it a chance. Don't expect it to hold a candle to Forza, though.
