Law Help! its about my CB9 accident

so I finally got a letter back from the guy who hit me insurance. after 28 business days/40 regular days. its 4 pages talking about the accident. to put it short, they want me to sign a waver releasing them from any more trouble. & they are only offering me $1140 for my car. & thats before they deduct some for buying my car back. plus as you know most 93 CB9s at least here go for 2k+. so they arent even giving me enough to buy another car thats the same condition that mine was.

also they arent giving me any thing for my missed days of work or the head aches all this shit has giving me. plus during this whole time they did not offer me any rental car for me to go to work. I had to borrow my moms car, which meant I had to take her to work every morning that I need the car. & Im sure you guys know how that turned out.

theres also the case of the guy in the silver chevy that the guy who hit me pushed me into. the silver car was a rental & the rental company (enterprise) wants me to pay them for the damages.

these people have got me pissed & stressed out! what legal options do you guys think I got? do you guys think I can still get a lawyer & take them to court. cuz I aint accepting the $1140. nor am I gunna send them back the 4 page letter signed to release them from fault.

I would think you could still get a lawyer... you've done everything right in terms of trying to work with them. If they're going to screw you, then it's only reasonable to go after them.

I am no lawyer nor do I know much about laws, but to me it seems that they are just trying to sneak there way out of a huge court settlement or a lawsuit. They figure that you are just some average Joe that will accept the first amount of money offered and will release them from any fault. I would definitely check with a lawyer on that matter, it wouldnt hurt to know your options!

Get a lawyer. They're obviously not being fair with you at all. You could and should be getting more than that.

if you have your lawyer or a lawyer write them a letter and let them know

that you are not going to accept their offer, and that you will be taking legal

action to set this straight they usually will not be willing to go to court and

will work with you a little better

Get a lawyer they want you to sign a waiver not to pay you for being out of work. You may have to go to physical therapy one you can trust and stay out of work for about 3 months.

That means no riding in cars no lifting heavy shit of any kind because if they see you and take a snapshot your fucked. I got 15grand extra for the months i been out 2.5 went to the lawyer.

The other insurance company was complaining about howcome i didnt sign shit i was like hey thats the way it is and replied who hit who? and who was on the cellphone not me now pay up.

I'd definitely go ahead and get some professional legal advice. The lawyer you already have for the other wreck will more than likely be more than willing to help with this one too.

I'd write a demand letter which specifies what you want and tell them if they don't comply, you will be forwarding it to your lawyer. Also send it certified mail so someone has to sign for it.

As everyone has already said, I agree get a lawyer.

I don't remember the original thread for this particular accident, but were you the middle car in a nose to tail?
From your OP it sounds like they are "politely" trying to get out of it
If it legitimately wasn't your fault, fight it with all that you have.

If at first you don't succeed, Try again. Don't give up too easily, persistance pays off in the end.

And dont sign shit especially if you dont understand it. Legal terminology is like a alpha ebonics meant to trip you up if your not careful. until you get a lawyer and a second to third opinion
