Money maker, lol. Someone should meet up like they're gonna buy it and beat the shit outta this guy for having anything to do with theft and cars.

who said it even had a thing to do with stealing cars.

Someone locks their keys in the car...You unlock it for them, and more then likely they will give you money for your time and tools.

have you ever seen what a tow truck driver uses when he has to tow a locked car? lol

There was someone in Spokane selling a slim jim kit. If I knew more about using them, I'd buy one. It's not cheap to have your doors unlocked. Like the op said, you could make some good money with 1 of these

You can buy those is almost any truck stop.

Except in Cali, very illegal there.

Right, because someone is going to use it for the powers of good. This is 2010 dude. I could imagine some one using this to help people if you live in the middle of nowhere but where I live people will definitely just use this to break into your car and steal everything you have.

I have a nice kit I use at the body shop I work at. That kit looks like one i bought from our local matco tools rep. It has a poor design because the two yellow pieces screw together which broke in a car I went to open. Some local locksmiths want 250 to open your car. I charge about 100. It could pay for it self if it was used LEGALLY.

I have that same kit (or one exactly like it). Bought if from Snap-On for less than $100. One of the guys I work with likes to lock keys in cars so I use it alot.

The inflatable wedge is where it's at.

I accidentally locked the keys in my 1998 626 many years ago and called AAA. (I was out of town, washing the car and had bumped the lock button cleaning the doors. I got out to wash the outside of the windows and discovered it didn't have the safety "no lock" feature on it.) When he finally got there, the guy wedged the top of the door open, and then procedeed to poke at the window down button as I told him "Uhh...the lock button is right above the widnow buttons. It's just me, but that seems easier."
He actually finished rolling the window down far enough to get his arm into the car and then unlock the door. With the power lock button I'd been pointing out to him. I wasn't too upset about the car sitting in the lot running while I waited for an hour to get into it, the stereo was on loud enough to hear, the AC was pumping, gas was cheap (It was 2000). Until he opened the door and it was well over 1oo degrees in the car because while cleaning the dash, I'd pushed the HVAC control to HOT as well as having the AC running.
