ok can anybody tell me why all these people have like the nice 18's in the back and riding on stock ones in the front? ive seen a bunch driving around and a ton more on the anti rice sites? pics soon

i dunno, maybe for winter they wanted winter wheels in front (front wheel drive) but couldnt afford rear wheels? its rice no matter what excuse though.

Probably spent so much money on 18" chrome wheels that they can't afford to pay for new tires when an old one blows out because of their excessive negative camber. So they have to ride on the stockers 'til they can save up enough money for new tires.

yeah that is true, or some only have enough for 2 and save for the other 2, but can't wait to put them on thier car...i'd rather wait and put them all on at the same time, i never rushed to get rims.

im like that right now. 17's in back, steelies in front. but its for a reason, not rice, you assumers. i had 2 almost bald tires, one of which had a nail go through it... and i didnt want to spend money on new tires for them since im going to be getting new rims. so i threw the steelies on the front.

some of those cars w/steelies or smaller black rims up front may even have street/drag radials on them

I rocked steelies (with hubcaps) and factory alloys in back for a week.

My tires upfront crapped out.

rims are expensive. maybe they cant afford it..

or maybe they've got a cb7 and did the 5 lug conversion up front and not in the back, so they've got nice rims in the front, but stock stuff in the back..

i just had never really saw the point of buying 2 rims....plus i thought you baught them in a set of 4. but the tire problem makes sence.. thanks
