Well it all started on the way home. I was on a slight down hill so i popped my car in neutral and was gliding down the hill while just having a good time with my freinds. Before i knew it i got pulled over...
I got my first ticket for doing 46 in a 25. This is also the first time i have ever been pulled over.
And normally i side with the cop when someone says " cops are dicks " but this cop just really was.
For starters in maryland they have a law, you need to hold your lisence for 5 months before you can transport passengers. The officer asks me how many months i must hold my lisence before i can transport passengers. I tell him 5 months, he goes " no the new law is 9 months so you need to read up on your laws " in an asshole tone. Well i did go " read up on my laws " and i was fucking right, it is 5 months.
It was also late at night ( 11:45 ) and i was driving my freinds back home. He tells me its too late for me to be driving because my curfew is 12:00. I go " well my freind in the back is 21 and hes held his lisence since 18 so i can legally drive at night according to maryland law " he goes
" no you cannot drive at night "
I asked him if i could with my parent in the car. he tells me im still not allowed to drive at night. He was fucking wrong again and i was dead on right
He also waited from exactly 11:47 to 12:00 on the dot to re deliver my ticket. Knowing i have a curfew.
Not only that but he wrote me an inspection ticket for my exhaust leak which pissed me off ( lucky for me i was driving with brights on so he didnt see my headlight out. )
And its not like i was being a dick about it either. I was very cooperative and casual about it because i didnt want a ticket. But for some reason this guy was aiking to tell me i was wrong even when in a few cases i wasent.
And PS: The ticket is $290. WHAT THE FUCK? That is just bullshit. $290 for what? Moving my vehice faster then they told me to? Thats fucking stupid shit.
Only lesson learned: Dont drive with my freinds at night EVER again.
And pps: Dont take this as im saying i shouldnt get a ticket. I just think that fine is way too big.
