    Electrical Help

Look at the image below. I've (poorly) labeled the components that I don't know. Can somebody tell me what they are? I know that some of them are transformers, relays, and one big ass capacitor, but I don't know what's what. In case you don't see all of them, there are 4 numbers.
Also, does anyone know what the voltage drop will be if I extend 12 gauge solid wires maybe 3 feet?

Bonus points if you can guess what this circuit will do....
    MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

Lots of DIY videos specifically for our car

measure the resistance and that will tell you the amount of v-drop.
    I <3 G60.

0.5mm Oversized Stainless valves and bronze guides available. Pm me please.

I don't think the drop will be enough to impact what this is supposed to do. If it is, I could always use a bigger capacitor!

Any help on the other items?

I want to know what those components are!
555 is a timer circuit, by the way.

          1. NPN BD679 Transistor

          2. 10nf/400 volt Capacitor, the triangles going into lines are 1N4007 diodes

          3. 10nf Capacitor

          4. 1k:8r Transformer

Voltage drop also depends on the load going through the wire. A small load will have almost no drop.

            Thanks!
I didn't even know that diodes existed before I read that. Wiki makes them sounds like a good invention.
Care to guess at what this will do?

              I'm not sure...

Start at page one and read EVERYTHING on this site.

Car audio technical information with more than 125 individual pages, 50+ calculators and wav files. The covered topics range from basic electronics theory to more advanced topics such as speaker impedance as it relates to frequency, damping factor and signal to noise ratio.

You will learn pretty much everything about basic electronics.

looks like a 555 timer set to astable mode, output changes continuously. all aboard the pulse train
