CPU stress test - how does your proc stack up?

This threads reminds me that I need to stop assuming people are like me and waste tons of money upgrading their computers every year or so.

I'll run it overclocked in a couple of mins, but for now this is my Asus g73jh laptop 1st run.

How do you overclock, id like to see what this thing can do, without damaging it of course. Ive been in the BIOS plenty of times, just never looked into over clocking.

And when I try to run the OpenGL it says my card doesn't support it :S

You should run the OpenGL test. I just updated my screenshot with mine; 57.xx FPS.

If your computer supports it, you'll find it there. Look for things like clock speed and cpu multipliers.

Also might want to speed up your fans.

I used to have a program that allowed me to OC within windows. Don't remember the name though. That's also very risky.

My laptop has an overclock button hahaha, not too sure how to overclock manually.

but there wasn't much of a difference even though the CPU test loaded alot faster.

How would I go about fixing OpenGL
My vid card is an Nvidia GeForce GTS 250 (1 Gig)

I know OpenGL worked on my old comp with a shitty card because I could render with it...
