We Need Avatars!!

How come we dont have the option to use Avatars on here? or do we and im just retarded....but i dont see anyone else with them so i dont think we have them but it would be nice if we did so we could have little pics under our names....dont know why its important but it would be cool and just something and different....hit me up with what you guys think or if the admins could change/add this to our bad ass cb7 site..

It has been brought up in the past, however, the bandwith that avatars use up would raise the price to host the site to such a high level it would be impractical to have.

but sigs get independently hosted.. by whoever you guys have host them...

avatars are BY DEFAULT set to have cb7tuner (my host) host them.. no matter where you initially host them at.

i will let you guys use avatars though, if you prefer them over sigs..
i don't like having both.. it's too much clutter... we don't need avatars AND sigs.

personally, i'd prefer avatars over sigs.. even if i do have to host them all... because they're cleaner and simpler.. kinda like honda-tech.com's setup.

not a problem. but yeah, it has been brought up in the past.. and thought about. i dunno, i just don't think both would be neccessary.

if the avatars didn't take up hosting space on my server, i would probably add them... even if i didn't like them.

maybe we should take a poll and see what people think, though.

we could do..
+ avatars only
+ sigs only
+ both (which i might not be able to do, but might as well add it to the poll)

yeah well if it was an issue for one or the other i would say keep the sigs instead ya know but both would be awsome but if u cant do it then its all good....just been scoping out other forums and seeing them made me want them here but jut sigs are cool too dude

i know, and it's weird.. cause it's like that here too... but once YOU'VE hosted your own avatar.. and put it on the board, it's like the forum software takes over and hosts the avatar on cb7tuner.com's server.. odd.. let me look into this, though. i'll see if there is something i haven't enabled, etc.

I don't really care either way... Although I did spend a little bit of time stealing cpmike's 4thGen avatar and customizing it...heheheheh... Thanks again Mike...
