    Looking for something

I'm trying to find something similar to a glass Christmas ornament but has to be a lot stronger. Something I can carry around without fear of it breaking on me but at the same time if thrown on the ground will shatter. It has to be hollow inside. Any ideas?

If you are wondering its for a stage/magic trick!

    Snowglobe.

It really depends on what you mean by "Something I can carry around without fear of it breaking on me"
I could carry a shot glass on me and not break it, but shatter it if I throw it at the ground.
    Likewise with a snowglobe.

How rough are you when you are "Carrying around"

Plastic bubbles that hold the little toys from a gumball machine.

Or you could make your own 'package' out of plaster (not drywall mud: plaster of paris) in two halves, then fill it and glue it together with a little more plaster. It would help if we had an idea how big it needs to be and a rough idea of the contents.

If you didn't have to worry about them being turned upside down, you could use christmas ornaments...the wire loop usually pulls right out of the top.

...and maybe if you put a little bit of plastic wrap under the cap that holds the wire loop, it would keep sealed a little better?

thanks Mista but i dont think it would be worth shipping. now if you still had that hundred then maybe lol. thanks though!

well the original trick uses xmas tree ornaments with the top sealed like you recommend, but my worry is that they are just too fragile. if anything, ill take some out from the attic and try them out. ill hit up a pharmacy too. i found out that michaels arts and crafts sells them but pricey. 4 bucks or so for one 5ml bottle

Fill, cap, throw on the ground. How weak are your throws? I've dropped them and had them crack apart, tossed them against a wall empty and had them break apart, had the lids pop off. The smaller ones are a little tougher, but they are just plastic.

Or, you could always try something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-100-Gree...item19c82adbe3

I always got the ones that were viciously brittle; you were as likely to break them and stab yourself as open them.
