    Favorite Vacation Spot

So where does everyone like to go on vacation?

I'm planning my 3rd trip in two years to the Smoky Mountains/ Gatlinburg, TN. Personally I love the atmosphere and hiking trails.
We are all ricers, it just depends what flavor rice you are.

Minitrucker by heart, CB7tuner by coincidence.

I haven't been to a ton of places, but so far my favorite is Charlevoix MI.
There isn't too many people (like Florida) and it just amazing to look at.
    MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

Lots of DIY videos specifically for our car

Get some awesome wipers! <-- It's a DIY

Vacation... that word sounds so weird. I've almost forgotten what it meant!

I have fond memories of renting a little condo with my parents in Ocean City, NJ... right on the boardwalk. The beach is right there, there's tons of fun stuff to do on the boardwalk, and everything is peaceful late at night or early in the morning. It's the South Jersey shore, so it's not full of the "Jersey Shore" types.

I need to travel out west sometime. I've been to AZ twice, and up and down the east coast a number of times... but never more than 2 hours west of Philadelphia otherwise.

Right in my backyard. The Smokies really are great.

I'd say Hilton Head, SC is probably my best answer as I've been there every year since birth. The only downside is that now it is getting to be really crowded.

Traveling the countryside of Italy for two weeks was my favorite vacation of all time, but that's not really a typical vacation spot.

I just found out about that reading up on places to stay.

My most hilarious (and scary) memory from Gatlinburg was last January, me and my wife stayed in a cabin at the top of this mountain. Beautiful place, perfect views, only problem was that we took my cb7. One day it snows the entire day. I spent most of the day in the hot tub checking out the view and the snow. Later that night we wanna go to the Hard Rock Cafe. So we leave, by then the snow had turned to ice, get 90% of the way down and hit some black ice and slid a good 20-30 feet, stopping inches from a tree and a local's house. Needless to say we went and had dinner, the town was damn near deserted, and we were the only ones eating at the HRC that night. Shows how little we see snow here in mid-GA. We left to go back to our cabin and at the same spot in the road, I can't get any traction. A local comes along and sees our trouble and offers we park in his yard and gave us a ride up to our cabin. Next time we visit in the winter, I'll have a 4x4 truck, lol.
