so someone had shared this story and I found it to be share worthy.


This happened on TAM airlines.

A 50-something year old white woman arrived at her seat and saw that the passenger next to her was a black man.

Visibly furious, she called the air hostess.

"What's the problem, ma?" the hostess asked her

"Can't you see?" the lady said - "I was given a seat next to a black man. I can't seat here next to him. You have to change my seat"

- "Please, calm down, ma" - said the hostess
"Unfortunately, all the seats are occupied, but I'm still going to check if we have any."

The hostess left and returned some minutes later.

"Madam, as I told you, there isn't any empty seat in this class- economy class.
But I spoke to the captain and he confirmed that there isn't any empty seats in the economy class. We only have seats in the first class."

And before the woman said anything, the hostess continued

"Look, it is unusual for our company to allow a passenger from the economy class change to the first class.
However, given the circumstances, the commandant thinks that it would be a scandal to make a passenger travel sat next to an unpleasant person."

And turning to the black man, the hostess said:

"Which means, Sir, if you would be so nice to pack your handbag, we have reserved you a seat in the first class..."

And all the passengers nearby, who were shocked to see the scene started applauding, some standing on their feet."

Personally, i would have died laughing and paid to see this happen. I couldnt agree more with the airlines decision on this. But whats everyones thoughts and opinions on this?

That it was booting her off would have screwed her to the max but she would have fully deserved that. I wish i could find pics of the womans face after the news was broken to her

You will never find pics becuase this particular story never happened. It's a old hypothetical. It is not a new article of something that happened on a recent airline. It has been around for some time now. I think it started as being on a British airlines leaving from Johannesburg. It was posted back in 2006 with much better spelling and grammar.

It is meant to get a racism discussion going and paint a bad picture toward a certain race. Remember that racism isn't just a white thing! Seems to be the big play though!

Made up or not thats still badass! Personally i think racism as a whole is bullshit and a disgrace that it even exist forget anything someone of a certain race has done to you and quit getting pants in a bunch and just live life. Sadly not many peole will have this mentality smh

it's not racism. just because you can't sit next to a person doesnt mean it is racist. she doesn't mention inferiority.

i can't stand working with my friend and it's not because hes a hillbilly white trash, it's because he doesn't know how to work on stuff and use common sense. it doesn't make me better because im chinese but because i have better skill sets when it comes to working with my hands.

Refusing to sit next to someone because of their race IS racism. If you don't like it and you keep it to yourself, that's one thing... but if you demand to be moved because you can't sit in a seat next to a person of a different race... that's 100% racism.

I would have not said anything if I was the black dude but thanks bitch do I get free drinks btw. And seriously thats some fucked up shit that broad can do I could care less. If I was the pilot on that plane I would have had tsa and the port authority come and get her cause she aint riding with us. That right there with her bullshit is a security risk. And the main reason behind that with me making that statement she could be hostile on the plane to where she would probably do something foolish risking everyones life on some dumbshit in the plane fuck that.

not wanting to sit next to someone(with no pryor knowledge of said person) cause of there race IS racism. you down like your "hill bill" co-worker cause you know him.

you can "not" like someone for any reason. it's your god given right. but when you voice it to single out the ppl or person you don't like..... then it becomes a problem.
