Is anyone having any issues keeping their iPhone5 connected to WiFi? LTE is working great for me but sometimes my phone won't recognize wireless networks or if it does it drops the signal shortly thereafter. I have 2 other i4's running on the same wifi network with no issues so I'm stumped. There are a handful of other forums reporting issues so I'm assuming that a certain batch of phones are affected.

It's not the phone it's ios6 all models have this issue, my 4 and both my friends 4s and 3GS have issues also

Just to back this up further, a coworker is having trouble getting his iPad with iOS6 to connect to certain routers.

He went to the Apple store and they confirmed that the issue is one of software conflicts between certain brand/model security measures (their encryption methods) and iOS6.

this is the bottom line for me... my phone is like 5% of my day and id like to keep it that way or even less... i know where everything is and i dont have to fuck with anything. that and the device itself is very nice... ive had my 4 for over two years and it still looks MINT.

Oh yea and I hate the texting app on droid platforms and what they suggest.


I am glad that this new IOS fixed the text tone/vibrate problem. You couldn't set it to just vibrate with out a tone before. I like to have a ringtone and no text tone but vibrate on. It would work if you just muted all sounds which was annoying because I missed a lot of calls. Not sure if anyone else noticed that.

Do they let you assign your own notification sounds yet? That was one of my biggest peeves.

idk, ive seen my friend's evo 3d do some pretty crazy shit.

unlocking with face identification
3d pictures and videos
remote webcam access

I have the evo 3d, its awesome for the 3d enthusiasts, but after that its just another android. 3d porn videos are still unheard of, and the few 3d games that exist are crap. the face recognition will work on any android running 4.0 or higher with a front facing camera.

Yes even the mail sent one that you couldn't edit before is not editable. Pretty nice.

I used to have an LG Thrill. The phone its self was a great phone. Large screen, 3D, fast... the 1 thing I didn't like about it was, the updates were slow as fuck. They (at&t and LG) kept announcing software updates, they never came. They kept pointing the finger at one another. But, after a while, it finally came.
