New Initial D anime is coming!

I do, through extensive research it is the only way I've found to keep all the moisture and leakage that occurs from watching initial D contained.

I was looking at ordering all of the English versions online (which I'm pretty sure didn't include these new ones), but they got such horrible reviews on the translation quality/accuracy that I decided to keep my money. The only few Japanese words I know I picked up from this show, so I'd be lost trying to read the original material

The TokyoPop versions are absolutely awful. They even changed the awesome music! The Funimation versions are good. Of course, Funimation originally re-released the TokyoPop versions, so you have to be careful which ones you get. You want the newest.

I prefer subtitled anime, but I've watched MANY Funimation dubs, and they're all VERY well done. Netflix's anime offerings are almost exclusively Funimation. It's cool, because many of the same voice actors do different shows, so you'll eventually recognize voices (not in a bad way.) It's also a good way to discover new favorites... find an actor that you like, and look for other series that they have leading roles in.

i read fansubs posted online. they always came out pretty good.
