    Back in the game!

Found this little gem before I moved back to Alabama sitting at a mechanics shop. Traded my Ranger for it even.

    1990 EX with 269,000 miles 1 owner

          Nice find you lucky bastard!!!

Im hunting for a new CB because mine has stage 4 cancer. Instead of buying/repairing and painting, I want a clean slate.

I live in NE, and am shopping as far as Oklahoma city OK (8 or so hours)in an attempt to find something HALF as clean as what you stumbled upon.

          Congrats man

Crazy high mileage, but it looks like it's in great shape! If it was maintained mechanically as well as it seems to have been cosmetically, you might've scored yourself a hell of a car. Welcome back

Not too crazy high, he is just about 60k more than my car. It's about an average of 12.2K miles/yr. That's really not bad... How many miles a year do you put on your Fit deev?

Best score is the clean straight 1990 body... I would kill for a clean straight body with no rust ... well not really kill ... Mechanicals are easy to replace, body work is black magic...

Yea the body is immaculate and just about everything works on it minus the AC. The o2 sensor is out in it causing some issues and the valve cover gasket is leaking but thats not a big deal. Just some minor things I need to repair.

I saw it sitting at the shop and when I asked the guy I could tell he didnt know what he had. It made it from Tnnessee with no problems.

I dont know what my plans are yet I still have to get it registered. Probably a swap of some kind and fixing thge usual problems like a leaky trunk and tailights.

my only complaint is the 90-91 seats belts.

If it was my car after a check http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=123597

I would start with tires. maintain brake system. repair worn items for an alignment. timing belt valve adjustment job. purchase coils. and live that stance life. maybe a seat swap and a harness bar for the seats idk. just ideas.

Great trade for a Ranger! You certainly got the better end of the deal.
