How do you get your turn signals to blink faster than the standard rate?

I got to be honest, my Z does this.... and I dont know if the previous owner custom did something... or is it a fuse going out..?

left and right signals blink fast(both at the same rate), and the hazards are normal.... hmmm... any one know? Should I be worried?

check to see if he put led bulbs in, i put some in a long time ago and they came out almost immediately because they blinked too fast

they looked like flat, normal bulbs to me... but the hazards are the same too...

I was going to say you had a bulb burnt out, but on both sides? -probably not. That's about all I could think of. If a signal bulb is out on the front or the rear, I've always had the remaining one blink twice as fast. -you probably already knew that...so anyways



I know some cars have a "flasher" or som'n -its in with the fuse box, could check into that....

If there is a short in the system such as a bulb out, they will blink fast. Sometimes its as simple as a bad bulb connection. My bumper lights used to go out once and awhile because I didn't have a solid connection when I spliced in the 1157 socket. So basically go through all your bulbs and connections and make sure they're clean and good.

all the bulbs are good, ive checked....

the weird thing i noticed last night at the yard, is that the orange turn signals do not blink.... its the brake lights......

yeah...

the orange ones dont light up AT ALL. So my brake/night lights also serve as turn signals...

How the fuck did this guy pull this off? Rice mod or is something really screwed up on my car??

right now, they are blinking fast i dont necessarily want to get rid of it...i think its kinda cool...

but if its something thats gonna fuck up my electrical system, i want to fix it... like i said, homie who had it last did it...
