Muffler Silencer

i was wonderin if anyone has felt a performance difference when they inserted there silencer in there muffler

i like mines in b/c it makes the muffler quiet until i punch the gas,
Also it seems to rattle alot b/c theres only one screw hole
And at times it seems to feel clogged b/c the silencer in the way


Doesnt any else have these problems

omg i noticed significant difference when my silencer is out....however, i lost mine of the highway lol, i guess i didn't tighten those nuts too well hahahaha....but yea it def makes a difference....the backpressure with the thing in is like WHOA! your not alone! silncer=loss of 130hp

I have a silencer in. I notice it being faster actually. It';s not loud as hell and I love the sound of the intake. can't wait to get my greddy exahust

I bought an APEX WS that is quiet in the first place. Sure the can's big and the exhaust hangs a little low, but it is QUIET, and I don't have to worry about any goofy silencers that fall out or get swiped.

pretty sure he is, or hes just buying some knockoff exhaust that says aexi or geddy, hahaha

probably an increase of torque..but a loss of HP on the top end.

definetly. way back when, we put my car on the dyno... 2.5" headerback piping, no cat to a 3"in/4"out muffler. with a silencer, -17whp
