    I think I have a problem...

I was just sitting here thinking, and I realized that in the last 8 years I have owned 14 cars. Not counting all the Hondas that I bought just to flip, but cars that I actually owned and drove for a while. 1 Mustang GT, 2 Camaro Z28's, 4 Civics, and 7 Accords (5 of them CB7's). Today I just bought another Civic, and this Monday I'm going to go buy another CB7. WTF is my problem...is this normal? How many cars have you owned?

          5 years. 1 car.

I'm not trying hard enough. I want a truck for next winter. 86-88 4Runner would be fun.

                LOL...you crack me up dude.

Seriously though, the longest I have ever owned a single car was my 2nd CB7, I voued that I would never sell it and planned on driving it forever. I loved that car to death. I owned it for 3 years put 90K miles on it, until I was rear-ended in it last April and it was totaled...she only had 150K on the clock.

Since then, I buy a car, fix it up, and drive it for a while. Then I come across something else that I like better and buy it, sell the old one, and the cycle repeats itself. I've owned 5 cars since my old one was wrecked 8 months ago. I just can't seem to get attached to anything.

Now this is something I am knowledgeable about. I'm assuming you know that 86-88 4runners have IFS, but on the flip side have the Electronic Feul Injection. If you ever plan on lifting it, or if you want a simpler truck to work on, look for an 85 4runner. It was the last year of the solid front axle, but the first year of EFI. You get the best of both worlds. Good luck finding one though, they're pretty tough to find for a decent price. The solid front axle has less moving parts than the IFS, and thusly less parts that can break. Plus it's just cooler looking.

THAT is what a good 4runner looks like.

And now I have to apologize up and down to you guys for jacking this thread. Really, I am sorry, I just couldn't help myself!

Oh, and back on topic, I think I've had 2 cars in the past 2 years, Both 1993 Accords, but different trim levels (LX then and SE now )
