    Been wondering something

This is probably a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyways. As you can tell I'm bored!

Say I was going to move from "sunny" California to the land of the great Maple(aka New England) what would I have to do to keep my car from rusting? I'm sure some New Englander's buy cars from the west or south and bring them up there. So would you have to not drive it in the winter to prevent the rust? Heavy undercoating?

    I'm just curious.

Just washing it all of the time will help. Getting it undercoated will help as well.

There was a car I looked at from Cali last summer that had been out here for like 4-5 years and didn't hardly any rust. If you put your effort into it, you can stop it.

just wash your car every time they salt the roads... or move to the north west they only use sand here, there are hardly any rusty cars here at school
