Adblock defeats the purpose of the ads...
The "bookmark" thing is irritating. I have no option to remove it, and I'm waiting for Clicksor's reply on how to get rid of it. That was not part of my initial agreement with them.
The in-text ads are annoying, yes... I had intended on removing them and my hard drive crashed, along with all my FTP programs. Eric, if you find yourself bored and want to change the inline ad code to "false", feel free. I probably won't be able to do it for a bit.
I have seen NO popups. I have not added popups to this site. I never will add popups to this site. If you're getting a seperate popup window showing up (and I never have) please PM me about it. It should never happen.
As for "clicksor sucks"... wanna send me $100 a month? I'll gladly get rid of all the ads. Hell, I'll even put "CB7tuner.com is brought to you by 4thgenaccord" at the top where the ads are now.
We don't have avatars because they hog bandwidth. Even when hosted elsewhere, they are saved to and recalled from the hosting server. That slows down the site, and eventually crashes is when traffic is high. If you look at the member info of some of the older members, you'll see the images they had for their avatars. Mine is Megaman.
I may consider adding a "preferred member" forum... much like the Beginner Forums. In those forums, the members that care enough about this board to send money will be the only ones allowed access... not only posting, but seeing. It may not be enough to ask a monthly or yearly fee, but hell... if enough people are interested, I can see if it's worth it.

If I do a VIP lounge, my only requirement is that it's going to have VERY strict moderation... and if you get kicked out, you have to get back in the way you came... through paypal
I'll probably piss a lot of people off by doing that, however... If the grownups can't play nice, then they can't play in the grownup forum.
It's an idea I've been tossing around... we shall see.

what i was thinking if you were open for suggestion...was to limit some features that non paying cant have...maybe a post limit...or just some type of limitation...
1) post limit
2) non entry to VIP lounge
3) only paying members can have animated gifs n avatars
4) special features for paying member Ie ... hosting movies directly from cb7tuner.com
5) larger inbox storage for paying members...
i mean i wouldnt limit it so much that cb7tuner.com sucks but there should be some incentives..
i mean i understand a lot of people on here are broke but i think someone could cough up at least 10 bucks / year
just some thoughts
if 48 people donated 25 bucks you could eliminate the adds all together but give the paying members special featuresComment
