    Modding is a drug

I'm so glad they don't have Ebay at my job...between girls, going out and my car I'm gonna be ramen noodling it for the rest of the month...and I got paid for the month Thursday

I thought I was gonna leave the car alone once I got everything performance oriented...but I hate my wheels now and my front bumper looks terrible. If I can find someone to paint it for cheap I think I'm gonna get a new front bumper shell, a Spoon style lip, an ABS Dynamics lip, and hopefully some rims if I get money for my bday. This is hopeless

on the bright side unlike actual drugs you atleast get to see what you've bought longer. :P

No. Crack is a drug. Modding's an anti-drug. I still have to ask why spent this much money on a car that you've already said you're going to sell in less than 4 months?

I understood your performance build I guess, since you said you're getting all that stuff cheap, and could always resell it, but doing appearance is a waste of money from a financial standpoint, especially with what ABS dynamics charges for parts. Their lips retail for more than my lip.

Modding cars in any capacity, be it for performance, aesthetics, w/e, is a losing bet...hell, owning a car is a losing bet...I figure I might as well have fun with it while I can. Plus again when it's all over I'll have a buttload of parts to sell; that will probably add $1K to whatever I get for the car, so I figure 'eh why not?' It would be worth it if I could win some awards at the end of the year.

I guess I can dig that...but I'd def. avoid ABS dynamics for anything other than the rear lip. I'm sure their parts are top notch, but their prices are a little much for what thy are. You can get authentic pieces for their prices.

If the Greddy lip were still in production it would be a no-brainer...

When you sneak away from your fiancee's bridal shower to change your oil... yeah... It was a girly thing anyway!

You can still get them. I only got mine a little over 9 months ago. People were saying they were out of production then. You just need to know where to look. A quick search of the net shows more than a few places showing them for sale. Make a couple of calls, and see what you can find.

Surprsingly where I got mind was sold out though. Be aware they're a bitch to install though. Mine took my friend and I over 2 hours to do including test fitting the bumper to the car. I had to do a lot of cutting to the bumper, but I was able to not hav to cut the lip at all other than the ends.

2 hours on an install isn't bad at all; it's taken me longer to do less. I kinda like the Spoon style lip as well but they're not on Ebay anymore.

And a few places show them for sale, but I dunno if they have them in their inventory. I guess a call is in order.

Which year lip you going for...94-95 or 96-97...the 96-97 looks far easier to install than my 94-95.

Probably the 96-97 then. They're flat across on the top right? I could work with those.

Does anyone know if Civic lips fit?

94-95 is idented, 96-97 isn't. Fliplyricist has a 6th gen Civic lip on his car and 91cord (or something similar...it was a white 91 LX) has/had a DIY on doing a 96-98 Civic lip.
