Stickydiljoe was disliked because of the "love it or go to hell" attitude everyone seemed to get from him. After going through things, it was rarely him, but his nutriders that brought on that feeling. Joe was actually quite helpful and modest about his car.

I think this site runs pretty well. There are a few people who like to think everyone is against them, and they seem to enjoy voicing that opinion. Like with the Accord of the Month. I seem to recall that SOMEONE decided to mess with the voting a few months back, causing potential embarassment to a totally innocent party. THAT is despicable behavior, IMO.

As for mods ripping people off... there is no "application" to be a mod. You get the position based on the maturity, knowledge, and respect you show for others. You may know a few things, Gerald, but you show very little in the way of maturity and respect. Also, there isn't a single mod here that ASKED for the position. They were all decided upon by the current staff, and WE asked THEM.
The mod you are referring to has been a mod in name only for nearly 2 years. He pretty much fell off the face of the earth, and I allowed him to retain that position until I learned what had happened. For a while, we all thought he was dead. Whatever is happening between him and another member is THEIR business. It has nothing to do with the operation of this site.

All you do is hate. All you do is flame. I've never seen anything worthwhile come from you. Ever. You hate it so much here, you're constantly complaining and saying how horrible things are, yet you stay around.


And no, before you make it a "oh, Deev hates all the socal people" thing, I have nothing against them. I've resolved any differences I may have had with Jed or Joey. As far as I know, we're all cool... You just can't seem to let it go.

If you hate it so much, leave. If you don't want to leave of your own accord, I can easily ban you. I've had cause to for months now, but I've been nice and haven't.

Damn, I didn't read the thread until I came across R33Cb7's named and under it I saw the word 'banned' underneath his username.

I admit I wanted to become a mod once, and I went as far as asking ATX himself before he left to pursue his schooling and his newly aquired fox body.

He told me what the requirments were and I kinda laxed on it, I know being a mod is a bit of a p.i.t.a you have your constant members who post random crap in OT and others who just make fun of the newbies.

I mean I've definitely had my days where I would just go off on anyone posting something I thought was lame. Especially when it comes to Wayne's threads.

But besides that.

I've done it a bunch of times to the point where at one point AccordWarrior himself banned me for a day..lesson learned. I never really post much I just watch for new thread in the OT section because thats where most people post nowadays. I no longer have an Accord but still that doesn't mean I should stop posting.

I've joined Ranger-Forums.com and have been there since May 2006, but something about it just kinda nags me, it's not as diverse and they seem to be just eh,til this day I'm still trying to get well adjusted there. Their rival website RangerPowerSports.com (I've been a member there since Jan. 2005) is losing some members left and right because of the higher ups being too strict.

So I barely post at either website but here, just here I feel like I know everyone (at least certain moderators and members I've met in the last two years).

Although Deev dislikes my Ranger he's still a standout guy

Another CB7Tuner member, Dunkinutz would know this as he is also a member of RPS. He told me once he tried to design a new decal for RPS and wanted to sell some on the side, the admin supposedly threw a fit and told him not too. (Hey Dunks if your reading this correct me ) and another thing thats really off the scale there is the bashing, you think Cb7tuner.com is nitorous for bashing newbies?

Think again. They bash people to no end and yeah some new guys search, hell they even make new threads because they can't locate something, you'll as far as 45-60 views before the responds reach 4.

Besides that I've seen a certain number of newer members trying to e-thug it over the board and there are certain members that just annoy me to the extreme.
