If nothing on the internet should offend you, should anything in print offend you? It's still people making statements. Whether it's in print, text on a screen, or coming out of someone's mouth, it was still said, and still offends people.

Seriously, just think about it. Yes, it may come off as offensive, but if you get all butthurt about it and start crying and bitching, then you seriously have problems for worrying about what someone has to say about you on the internet.

Now, if it were someone you know and talk to everyday outside of the internet, thats a different story.

If it werent for the rules, I'd throw it around more often.

this site has helped me learn more about cars in general, more than any other influence anywhere (besides my dad, but he's always working or too tired)

just because i no longer own a CB, dosent mean that i cant still love this site.

people who mod their cars to their liking, take pride in their work, work hard, and achieve a lot, are people who i look up to. they inspire me to do so with my supra. like stickydiljoe, he built his car from scratch, i remember it when it was bone stock. now he's a front page featured ride. thats something to respect. i know others have discrepencies with him. but tahts a whole 'nother discussion.

Not yet. We're going to get a little more strict with the rules, though. We'll just keep getting more and more nazi-like until the people that can't show proper respect stop coming.

Honestly, this place is my home. I spend more time on here than I do doing anything else. This is my home. When you act disrespectful to each other, you're acting disrespectful to me. In my home. Would you go to a friend's house, pick a fight with someone else that's there, break a bunch of stuff, and expect your friend to be OK with that? Same here. It's not just the internet. Tell that to the people who send me bills every month. This is quite real, believe me.

I'd rather have people act according to the rules we have here out of respect. Respect for each other, respect for me, respect for the rest of the mods, and respect for the scene itself. We ARE different than any other board... we're slowly heading towards that common flamefest style though, and the pace is increasing. I'd rather have things run well because of respect, not out of fear (or sheer force) of the mods.
