deev, its time to get some new mods....

im forever in the appearance section, i dont know how the other sub forums are, but i feel the appearance section needs a moderator all its own. Almost on a daily i see bad advice circulate thru that area, in both the Beginner and regular Appearance sections. Just my $0.02
But i guess the argument could be made that alot of subforums are like that. I think the hardest part about being a moderator is youre gonna be expected to know quite abit about the areas you mod, and lets face it, some people know body work, some know paint, some know audio, some know suspension, swaps etc etc etc... And while most members dabble in a little bit of everything, finding a group of people to mod a subforum effectively would require someone finding a few people who know about each of those things, since obviously no one is going to know alot about ALL of them.

I think our mods do a great job of being aware of whats going on in the board and quickly resolving issues, i just feel that certain sections need particular attention to validity of posts, especially when we have alot of new members who take this boards advice as truth.

x2 to that. It never takes long for a thread that is SPAM, against the site rules, or full of wrong information to be shut down. There is so much helpful information on here that sometimes there are just so many people trying to whore up their post counts with inaccurate information, that all the accurate info gets buried. It never takes long for the truth to come out from a mod or any other knowledgable member for that matter. Deev and his crew of mods do one hell of a job at keeping this site BS and Drama free as best they can. It's tough being the one and only CB7 site out there and it is real good that it is in such good hands. Keep it up.. Later

I totally agree that the appearance section is fairly neglected... as is the audio section. Most of the mods we have now are mechanical/performance minded, or stick to the more social areas of the board (like me... I honestly hang in OT most of the time, and venture to the rest of the board when I have a question, or happen to see a thread that looks interesting or troublesome on the main page)

i actually noticed this too latley....and it pissed me off...and what really sucks is i havent even seen doc so its like wtf he pisses someone off that posts daily and they both disappear!!

It was some stupid chick that me and eric didn't even know. Some mutual friends brought her to the party.
