There are a couple of inactive mods who don't come here anymore. I was thinking of maybe recruiting new mods. I feel the new generation of cb7tunerz should be part of this. Maybe voting for new mods?? Then after we have a field of 5 ppl who are contended for the position. Then from there, you can decide from there. Its just an idea and I have been thinking of awhile.

Not saying that the mods we have right now are bad, just saying we have inactive mods who dont even come by the site anymore.

Moderators aren't chosen by popularity contests, they're chosen by how they would help the board the most.

well just lookin at the forum leaders, BustedLX, i'm the girl, uncle_el. The ones who been inactive for sometime, just bringing the issue up to deev. Thats all.

Although I don't think its a horrible idea i think it needs to work the opposite way.
Have the current mods present us with a list of people who are willing and the mods think could handle the position. From there have the members choose.

I do feel that if a mod isn't doing the job then they shouldn't have the position.

All 3 of them used to visit almost every day. Uncle_El definitley was the most active more recently than the other two, but they were all very active here at one point. I dont see a problem with it. Its not like more moderators are in demand. We still have a fairly full crew of active mods with AccordWarrior, cp[mike], Accord_R33, 91accordexr33, MRX, owequitit, and, obviously, Deev. I feel like Im forgetting somebody, but Im not sure.

i'm on cb7tuner.com practically 24/7 on each section of the forum and i do agree that there has been inactive mods. this is a great idea. hopefully deev gives it go, if not, it's practically fine, the mods now are still keeping the forum in control.

yea thats really whats going to keep this idea at bay is that the site doesnt really need more mods and from what ive read, it was NEVER voted on...deev and the current mods at the time hand picked them...

i think shits ok, i dont know about busted but i know i am the girl moved from Pa a while ago and uncle el is around once in a while....

but the current mods do an outstanding job imho so i guess well see what deev thinks....

thats an interesting idea. kinda weird that moderators of a huge forum kinda just drifted away. oh well. i know there would be a ton of people up for the job if you really did need new mods.

oh and guys, i dont think being on here 24/7 qualifies you for the position. you might need just a little bit more than "time on the forum"
