Yeah, but not ALL of it had restrictions. I think the news story is saying that ALL of it will have a limit now.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My pops, uncle and my current instructor have told me the same thing about driving on the autobahn, " if you dont have a super car or if you are not racing its not really all that fun". My instructor told when he was their he was in a M5 doing a constant speed of about 210 kph which is about 130mph (not sure) then he saw 2 fucking lambo looking sports car fly by him like he was standing still. He says because everyone speeds there it feels like driving on I-95 or the pike over here which makes sense if everyone is going 120 mph :shrug; I think its just the fact of not getting a ticket for so called speeding which makes it so appealing to enthusiasts.Originally posted by RalphieYea it was regulated in certain areas but if they change it altogether im sure itll be ok since people do die on that road quite frequently...
If only i had gone to Germany instead of South Korea i would have driven on it!!!

NJ has a road with no speed limit. It's called the New Jersey Turnpike. Rt 95.
Ok, so the POSTED limit is 65... but unless you're driving like a maniac, you can go 120 and not get pulled over in most cases. Especially if the rest of the people around you are doing the same. It's a toll road, and quite profitable to the state. There are alternate, FREE routes to it (rt295 to rt1 will take you to the same place, and nearly as fast if you followed the Turnpike speed limit).
Basically, the police don't want to be so strict on that road that people stop taking it. If you're weaving, tailgating, or doing other dumbass stuff, you WILL get pulled over. If you're speeding "responsibly", most of the troopers will allow it. The guys that went with me to the last meet will attest to it... they followed me up to about 90mph

They are prob gonna enforce limits because from what I heard traffic is increasing on the autobahn. As for the whole gettin a limit prob not gonna happen. They have cameras everywhere on that highway.

x2.....thats why some areas already have stop lighs and speed limits but if they wanted the entire thing to have a limit they would've been done it....thats my view on the situation.Originally posted by NAiL05They are prob gonna enforce limits because from what I heard traffic is increasing on the autobahn. Wouldn't mean that more cops would patrol the road? More tickets written, more income for the Gov.
