    spyware!

    hey

    Ive been having problems with pop-ups & adwares. it seams every time I open a new page or change it I keep getting like 2-3 pop-ups. its slowing my PC. I have an up to date virus protection (mcafee virusscan plus 07). & after many times of scanning my PC I still get those pop-ups. even my webroot spy sweeper doesnt fix it. (problably cuz its been out of date for about a year.)

    anyways...
    my question is what spyware remover should I buy?

    I was thinking of getting the latest version of webroots spy sweeper

    also what pop-up blocker do you recomend? mines out of date too.

    Try other antispyware.

    I tried SUPERANTISPYWARE Free Edition and it works wonders

    - Micosoft Defender nothing found
    - Spybot - found still no fix
    - Lavasoft Adaware - founds same spyware and no fix
    - Superantispyware - found spywares and many more then all fixed.

    Dont buy man.

      I use spybot and AVG (anti-virus)....coupled with Mozilla Firefox as my browser and I dont have those problems. And they are all free

        try ad-aware from lavasoft they have a free edition... and quit downloading pr0n

            I don't know how everyone gets so much crap on their computers... I download all sorts of odd stuff, and I never have a problem!

                  Firefox + Spybot + Ad-Aware = no adware (ever since I started using Firefox, Ad-aware doesn't even find anything. Anyone else notice this? Also, clearing your cache will get rid of the stuff Spybot finds, for me at least)

                  I haven't ever used a firewall program like Comodo, so I can't comment there.

                      l have a Pro version of Adaware used in conjunction of Spybot and spywareblaster.

                      the only way i get anything is if my sister downloads something from those damn Neopets websites her friends send her to.

                          Edit your hosts file.

                          I do that and block 90% of crap without needing anything.
