http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/ -> default should be vbb's index.php not phempas html

i figured the homepage should show up at straight www.cb7tuner.com but it should go right to the forum index at /vbb/ ... its a pain having to always click "home" even if i attempt to go directly to the index

I noticed that too... I have no idea how to fix it If you click on the image, it brings you to the most recent main page.

id bet the server is configured to first look for index.htm(l) instead of index.php first, which could definitely cause this issue...

Up from the dead. I've just gotten an error three times in a row. Thought I'd post it here to let y'all know.

Just out of curiosity, I did some "ethical hacking". Some advise.

Deev - make your info private. I got you name, phone #, address, email and so on and it took 3 seconds to do so. Someone could use it against you or hunt you down if they had bad intentions. You don't have to, but it's worth the $10-20/year to make info private. wildwestdomains.com can help you with that.

mchaley - nice job on securing the server! Telnet not responding to the usual ports. DOS-attacks blocked. No open ports except what's required. Nice!

I did not try to use any scripts against the Vb software cause if any worked, I didn't want to be responsible for bringing the site down! An upgrade of VB would be the best protection against any scripts but you've already mentioned that.

I have the 1 new PM issue too but I can live with it. It'll go away when I eventually clean out my PM's.
