ummm, who cares is they are JDM?. I mean do the JDM ones block the sun from your eyes better than the USDM ones?

The only JDM parts I would want are parts that cannot be bought USDM. Such as all the lights and some other options.

This applies to everything except for motors.

    JDM is the new Ricer

I know all the wagons were built in the US, even the ones that ended up in JDM land...that's why most CB9 fogs aren't curved. I believe most of the coupes (if not all) were built in the US as well.

in your case, if the visors were JDM, then the mirror would be on the driver's side instead of the passenger side. later.

JHM means it was manufactured in Japan, and shipped here. 1HG means that the car was built in Ohio. People have claimed that the Japanese-made cars are better, but I think that's all in their heads... Unless, of course, you discovered that the US-made Accords have crappier visor connections... Then that is a concrete example of at least one minor way the JHM cars are better!

Take pics of the old and new, I wanna see what you're talking about! The we can have people check and see... it could be a JHM vs. 1HG difference, it could be a coupe vs. sedan difference, it could be a 90-91 vs. 92-93 difference, it could be an EX vs. LX vs. DX issue (nothing is an SE in this case, so that's out)
Statistically speaking, they have done studies on this. JHM cars are actually more reliable than US built cars. It is a statistical insiginificance, but it is there. The same was found to be true of Toyotas as well.

it's been said the Japanese have great pride in their cars and build them with pride. later.

I think the Japanese take great pride in all they do, for their honor is always at stake.

Even though the US employees at those companies are typically very happy, well taken care of, and subscribe to the same basic ideals, it isn't quite a matter of life and death usually.

However, the small statistical anomoly (it was litereally like .4% or something) could be explained by different suppliers, manufacturing methods etc.

                Probably a combination of things.

i see...now that answers my question... i guess i just thought they WERE JDM because my visor were shittay with the plastic bar that holds the visors...and this one i now have is metal...So i guess it was a difference by model only...mine was DX and these are EX. dammit, im sad =(
