    i'd rather drive an auto.

honestly, i'd just rather hop in my vehicle and push the gas.

not have to worry about any gears to switch, clutches to push in. any of it. i mean yeah it's fun to drive sometimes, but like right now i'm really sick, and i'd just rather sit in the drivers seat and turn the wheel.

who else would trade their manual for an auto?

          I miss driving stick

I keep shutting off my Mom's Accord in drive because I forget to shift into park again.

nope dood, I'd be glad to drive a manual, even if I do get tired of it......you could get some tiptronic in your car, then you'd have an auto/manual.

hell, maybe it's just me then. but manual feels like a chore sometimes, like tonight when i was driving home from downtown, i felt shitty and just wanted to relax in my seat and drive.

yeah my girl had that triptronic stuff in her rsx, and its in my moms bmw, and it was in our cadillac too

it's not worth it, doesn't feel like you're really getting control unless it's paddle-type, like on the lexus gs400's

                          I love driving stick....

I will never go back to an auto.

I personally don't feel like its a chore its just become second nature to me. Plus i feel like i am in so much more control of my car.

Also it really helped me reduce my tailgating.

Never owned an auto, but I do notice it's easier to keep better distances. Generally it also keeps me more focused on the road.

When I first started I was like "I willl never be able to shift without thinking." But now, shift-shift-shift not hard at all. And about 95% of the time I enjoy it.

auto IMPORTS for the lose IMO.

i couldnt drive an auto import just because if i have an import, chances are im gonna rice it out and itll have a nice loud fart cannon, and autos with fc's are embarrassing.

now i have a 83 camaro, its auto, its not embarrassing one bit (not to me at least)
