IS3_FTW w/pics 56K *not my fault*

I bought my car back in Oct. of '06. When I had bought her, I didnt think that I would have taking it this far. I figured it would just be my DD without doing anything to it, and then eventually get a new car.

But when I was doing some research on the car that I owned. Then I was seeing, what others have done to their IS3's. I then saw what potential's that this car had. So I then got the mod bug bite. But my view wasnt for performance, it was more for cosmetics and a little bit of a growl!

So basically this is my IS3 and what I have done to it so far.

Engine:
SRT intake w/piggy
HP headers/ypipe, ceramic coated
Ltuned exhaust

Exterior:
JDM front/rear bumpers
JDM TRD lip kit
JDM Altezza visors
AAC custom painted headlights(JDM style)

hahaha...Manuals were made in the 25% category, from '02-05. '01 were all auto's

i love the IS. my buddy has a 5 speed. it's such a great car to drive. the tq feels oh so nice. hid's are always a plus too!

Okay, so I plan on getting my rear fenders shaved and wheels fitted. So I was bored, because it rained and I couldnt wash my car. Forgive me for having a dirty Lexus :blush:

I wanted to go a different route.

If I got an IS, it would get a turbo... or a 2JZ-GTE swap (it has the 2JZ-GE in it now, right?)

I considered it. I'd buy a Sportcross if I found one in manual. They exist... they're just rare.

GE is correct. SportX is rare, along with manual. Lexus only made 25% IS300's in Manual. From 02-05. 01's were all Auto.
I didnt go Turbo, because it would cost $3k just for the basic turbo. I didnt want the headache that would come with boosting. Anything more than 350hp, you would need to upgrade the Tranny.
Lexus parts are not cheap! I wish I had kept the CB7 as a DD
