    1. You spelled VTEC wrong.
    2. Its not worth it.
    3. Your downgrading your motor if that prelude used to be an Si.

oh thats how they were telling me how to spell it so its really V-TEC. but this is not a spelling bee. oh and we dont v-tec we dont like it. but what ever. we r getting this motor cheap

ok! now! were not down gradding just because its an si. that dont mean we r down gradding first off my prelude si. the h23 crankshaft was broke in half so i have no motor in my si at all.

4 my buddy his si spun a rod bearing in his h23. now he has the f22a1 out of a type S.

SO! how hard will it be.

        thanks!

I cant belive how many people on this site never heard of a 4th gen Prelude-S that came with a F22a1 rated at 130hp.

It was actually like 140. A Type S and a Prelude S are 2 different things. Plus there was no such thing as a f22b type s or whatever was typed above.

Yea. The prelude S was the base model equipped with an f22a1. SI=h23 then SI VTEC = H22A.

well in the states or anywhere there not called Type S since it would rectify the obd2 type S prelude. for the 92-96 version it was called prelude S not Prelude Type S. Prelude Type S = 97-01 H22a P&P higher comp SHIET look at the WIKI rofl.

The Prelude S had a different ECU than the Accord LX/DX. It had the P12 versus the PT3, that was the only difference. The Prelude S was rated at 135 hp, while the DX/LX was rated at 125 hp.
