Seven seconds is around what a 93-96 Prelude VTEC ran when new. I believe the 93 Si VTEC ran something like 6.7s.

Depending on your ability to keep time. I have a student that is musically inclined, and is usually dead on when he counts. I test him with a watch. Of course, you can't account accurately for the fractions of a second, but it would at least provide a ball park. Most people can't time that accurately though.
