well...what you want to fish for?
Bass: there is a Lake in Maplewood, don't know what its call but its good in the summer. Also try Taylor Falls, White Lake, and Bald Eagle Lake..They're all good places to fish.
Crappie: one hour drive up north and it worth it. Bite every 5-10 second.
Carp: Coon Rapids Dam or off highway 10.

Not sure where but I know how to get there though.

Yes its known for Hmong people. Its like Hmong New Year there during late May until Aug.

In that case, I'm not going. I kinda dislike fishing where there are too many hmong people. Too crowded like stillwater. I'll just go fish for crappie at my usual spot where to are little to no hmong people.

There is a place in Maplewood that caught big ass crappie and not much people know.....
