new honda's can be had for under 2k...even around 1k and in good condition. You just got a parts car bro.

On ebay you can buy a new radiator support/headlight metal...basically the entire front end. But it's nearly 200 plus shipping...but looks like the damage went further into the car than just that front end metal.

Really...just use it as a parts car and get another cb7...or newer/safer accord.

wow... i can tell that a lot of u don't have any body work experience at even an elementary level ,and yet your all telling him to scrap the car.

first off...just cause a car looks bashed,does not mean it's totaled...visual is just cosmetic,and if thats the case then yes you CAN fix it,for cheap...suspension included,all parts can be pulled out of a j/y...cheap.

what he needs to do is find out the extent of the damage,by doing an under the hood inspection,and then a driven one.

that is how it's done,untill he does that then theres no way u can tell for sure how bad the damage is just from a pic,unless the wheel is bent to hell,which his is not.

fenders,suspension,hood,is nothing to replace for someone that owns a basic accord manual,and again all parts can be had at a j/y for CHEAP.

to get a decent coupe with no rust,low miles... is going to cost at least a grand,and this can be fixed for a less then half of that...period

not trying to be a know it all,or offend anyone,but come on...at least tell him to get his hands dirty before u give advice,to scrap the ride.

my opinion would be if you have the time and tools to fix it. i mean its a learning exp and could be fun. and if you have another dd. or find another body on cl or jy then just swap the engine. good luck tho man.

easily repairable.

A salvage yard, some good negotiating and you could have this back on the road the same day with little money invested.

the second picture i saw had much more structual damage, you can tell from how the body was twisted. yours is not structual at all, it's mearly cosmetic. pull off you bent parts and your car won't look so bad.

A keystone aftermarket hood is on $75, and a aftermarket fender is $35, even if you don't go to a junkyard. a radiator partil apron support isn't gona cost to much, you could prolly have a body shop put it on for around 4-6 hrs of labor.

Did you look at the OP's car? I don't think you really should be talking of "who has more body work experience" because it doesn't seem like you have much yourself...or you just simply didn't look at the car right...take another look. If you had you would realize the OP's car has MUCH more than just body damage. There are major structural and frame damage done. The cost of those repairs and the effort to be put into it is not justifiable. He would have to rebuild the entire front passenger side uni-body as it is trashed...his welding would have to be prestine in order to keep the suspension angles proper too.

Maybe you are looking at the second car pictured...that one had FAR FAR less damage than the op's car.

you know when i first looked at it i said no... but the started reading the posts about you having 3 part cars... so IMO if u take it for the test drive like said on page 2... and it drives fine... cut the nose off the car... from the front wheel well to the radiator support.. do the same thing to the parts car and weld it on to yours... then u dont have to worry about the front end me being crooked

But would it matter if they r 4 door. Yea I have a junkyard in the family free parts. I would just get 1 out of the jy but they r all 4door not hate n on them. The 2dr is what I like.
