ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I don't know if this da right place to ask but anyways. It has the f22a1 in it will the f22a6 go in it? Will the trans go to? What mod might I have to do. Thanks for the help.

Yea u can mount the f22a6 in it no problem.. Its the same engine (on the outside at least).

Any cb7 transmission will bolt up.. but keep in mind that that CB7 tranny has a longer 3rd gear! I had a 4th gen Prelude and when my tranny broke I swaped in a cb7 trans and I was really dissapointed.. first and second are fine but as soon as u hit 3rd ur RPMS drop like a mofo and so does your acceleration.

My suggestion if u plan on staying with an f-22 is to try and get a prelude transmision since they have the better/shorter gear ratio.

    Good luck

Any car is fixable. This forum is full of full interior conversions and motor swaps, and a rad support swap is scaring everyone away.

I crashed my car in January. I haven't finished it because its at my parents house, which is about 500km away. I just get to work on it over weekends once in a while.

Now that so far has been:

                      New hood - $160
                      New bumper cover - $110
                      New bumper - $60
                      New signals- $70
New rad support - $110 (even if you get all your stuff used, get a new one of these)
                      New rad- 100
Hood latch - 40 from honda
                      Paint -600
Plus Grill, clips, a belt, possibly headlights, new intake (not needed, but why not eh?), and fluids and a few others. Mind you these are all brand new parts, so I have literally a brand new car infront of the engine.

I'll be doing a big thread about it after easter. But for the time being I would start taking off the broken parts and take off the rest of the rad support to inspect all thats broken.

guys...unless the pic is misleading...it isn't replaceable parts that are busted...it's THE FRAME. Again...maybe the pic is misleading.

This means he's going to have to be an ace welder as he will need to cut out the metal then re-weld the unibody, not just replaceable slap on parts...such as fenders and radiator supports.

Yea those pic are misleading. I had a buddy of mine that owns a bodyshop come and look at it. He said that if he was to do it 3500 with a buddy discount. The suspension is off on that side by like 3cm. It got n the sub frame. I got a 92 prlude with the f22a1 in the body is perfact. Can't pass it up 1200. That's a deal. Plus I can put my accord motor in it. So I can dive that mo fo tell the wheels fell off or hopefully noting like this happens to it.
