Those lights suck don't waste your money, the light output is no good on does projectors you might as well keep your lights stock they have better light output. If you search the forums you will find reviews and members opinions on does type of lights.

yes to wat he said about the output of these lights, i mean ya they look cool etc, ill put stock corners on tho...

as far as lighting goes, ill upgrade the bulb to a silverstar h3 i beleive is the size, ull see alot better with those bulbs, my bud has ebay projectors and swapped bulbs to silver stars, and hes happy wth the lighting.

      just my 2 cents friend.

Even with better bulbs the light output is horrible because of the design of the housing.

Either stick with OEM, or find JDM 1 or 2 peice headlamps.

You could get these and do a retrofit but it is time consuming and slightly expensive.

Just as much as finding nice JDM peices these days.

Search this site there are plenty of threads on this.

I have them with 8000K HIDs, both came on the car.

The output isn't too great, but I'm thinking it's because of the shitty HID K rating.
With 4500K HIDs, I think they'd be pretty good.

Take it from people who own a pair of these and can tell you from experience.

I have a pair of these projector headlights. in fact, they're installed on my car right now and you can see them in my MRT. I couldn't be more happier to purchase them. This particular two-piece design is surprisingly well constructed, especially since they allow for use for your standard 9006 bulbs. couple them with an HID kit and lighting is greatly improved. the cut-off is nice, clean and straight and performs very well, you can see much in the dark. It isn't an S2K projector or anything, but for a set of plug-and-play projector headlights without the hassle of retrofitting, these are worth your money. I don't know much about the ONE-PIECE projectors, but these TWO-PIECE ones, the ones that are designed very close to OEM aside from how the bulb locks in, are excellent quality and faithfully replicate the OEM housings. I'd prefer finding one that is all chrome, so that it looks more OEM, but basically its the OEM headlamp housing with a projector already installed.

I use 6000K HIDs and they perform very well. 4500K and they'll be natural white.

All in all, IMO I'd search for the all chrome ones, because they'll look very OEM, and im sure if you invest the money to get this and an HID setup for it, you'll be very pleased with the results.

PS: to ensure no water leakage, before installation remember to run some silicone where the glass meets the plastic and make sure that seam is sealed. be safe than sorry, as some members who did not take this step had water leak in after a couple months. I did this, and I haven't had any problems whatsoever since.

                          The JDM-Style 1-Piece Projector headlights

^These are the chrome ones. they have blackhouse too. Sometimes they look good on peoples rides, other times they dont. it really depends on the condition of the car and the color as well. in my personal experience of seeing them, they were installed on someones car and they looked really cheap, unfortunately. I also assume their alleged bad light output i attributed to the kind of bulbs they use. It's a really old design, so IMO i think the 2-Piece projectors, the ones that you linked to and the ones that I have, are of a much better quality, as evidenced by how they're constructed to be almost exact replicas of the OEM headlamps.

Out of the box, the 2-piece projectors i believe will perform much better and look more aesthetically pleasing than the JDM-style one-piecers. unless you're gonna do something wild with them like Aww_Shiet (username), who totally gutted those JDM-style one-piecers and retrofitted his own projectors in them, then you might as well invest in authentic JDM one-piece headlights and do a retrofit, since it will most definitely compliment your car well. if its the initial investment of the authentic one-piecers that scare you off, go with the 2-piece projectors and i'm sure you'll be satisfied with them. Then afterwards, when you get that itch, you can crank it up for the JDM one-pieces.

I would just go for the jdm 1 peice and do a standard Bmw or mercedes retro fit. I have a set of standard bmw projectors that use h1 bulbs that are just waiting for me to put the little bit of time and effort to retrofit them. picked them up from a u pull and pay for no more than 20 dollars.

                              heres a decent write up.

                              these are what I found.

They work better, are made of higher grade, and they have a good light cut off on them so you can still see but your not blinding everyone else. Nothing pisses me of personally than some one who slaps a hid kit in and can't adjust the cut off at a respectable height. Might as well drive around with your brights on.
