My $50 Paint Job

Spraying is definitely faster and turns out better - you can't argue with that.

And a nice spray pain job can be done for probably under $250 including the cost of a decent gun, compressor, masking tape, respirator, and the paint itself.

The problem with spraying is that a lot of people just don't have a place to do that. If you spray in your garage, everything will be covered in overspray.. and if you live in a townhouse, your house will stink for a long time. If you spray outside, your neighbor's cars will be covered in overspray. Etc.

Its gonna smell like paint regardless,as for the dirt many ol timmers an other folks with old or home made booths will wet down the floor good an keeps most trash out.An for over spray well clean stuff out im sure most could find a place if they looked.I have access to two booths when needed just had to ask.Doesnt hurt i went to school for this stuff an a good buddys dad owns a collision shop.Just saying id rather spray it then roll it.
