ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Shoulder Belt Blockoff.

This always looked dumb to me. Makes it look like you have the seatbelt clicked in with no one in the seat. A minor detail to some, but it was bugging me.

You can unclip the belt, but that makes the seatbelt light stay on constantly, also annoying.

    Here's my solution:

I 3D printed it, but it can be made out of any durable 3mm thick material. I took as many measurements of the stock seat belt clip as I could to re-reate it. I then made a crude mock up out of cardboard to make sure it would work. Then cleaned up the design and printed it off.

    It works really well.

No more seatbelt light, and no more odd looking seat belt.

Good idea and nice result. I have access to my old high school's plasma cutter and might make one out of metal.

Off-topic: What is that armrest out of?!

        On the Armrest:

I have no idea. It never occurred to me that it wasn't stock. Some quick searching suggests it might be some kind of generic unit.

Without seeing clearer picture it does look like the OEM optional 1991 Armrest (Honda did offer a retrofit kit to the 1990, but you can just use screws as well) or maybe a DA Integra unit.

Post clearer pictures and I should be able to positively ID it.

Does your shoulder belt completely retract into the seat belt unit? Mine never completely retracted into the holder so I never left it unplugged.

I'll try and get better pictures tomorrow of it.

The shoulder belt does completely retract, though not entirely under it's own power. I had to "help" it retract fully by feeding it into the belt housing. Once it's all the way in, it stays put.

Got a better picture of the Armrest:

This is it in the "back" position.

Could you elaborate more on what specific Caravan? Sorry to hijack the thread.

You have a DA Integra armrest.

See here for an explanation/pictures comparing the DA Integra unit to the optional CB unit.

The DA armrest flips back to reveal the cupholder(s). This one slides forward and has a small undertray that slides further forward.

Following that link, it looks like my unit is actually a "Husco" Armrest. Or at least very similar. It's got a similar/ identical undertray to this version of the 'rest:

But the mounting and pad don't look the same.

It's possible that mine simply has a custom covering, but if it was custom it seems odd to me that they would go with grey vinyl instead of an interior matching fabric.

I'll poke around a bit more on my lunch break and see if I can find a logo or something on it.

                        After some closer inspection:

It's a Husco Armrest. Probably from a 91 Integra, and with a custom vinyl cover.

They appear to be really rare. I've only found two or three examples of Honda ones, but they are more common on BMW E30's. Happening across one in a JY might be the only way to get one. If you do find one on eBay, expect to pay a pretty penny for it. The BMW/VW versions I found were going for ~$150 on forums and there's one for a 3rd Gen Civic for $200 on eBay.
