ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

you can do anything with a welderOriginally posted by f22ax_Rocks View PostGet yourself a good MIG welder. I like my Lincoln 140c. Then start fabricating away. Just use your oem brackets, of course, then make an adapter bracket. Did it for my buddies replica recaro seats into corolla

I've used EVO rails.Originally posted by excalibur02 View Postwhat rails and sliders did you use?
I didn't want to damage my original seats' rails, so whole thing is fitted using only EVO rails parts (no welding, just bolting everything) even though some cutting, drilling and hammering required.

I installed some RSX seats in mine. Didn't need any brackets. I drilled and ground out the rivets holding the RSX brackets and had someone reweld them wider to fit the CB7 mounting locations. No other parts were necessary, they all had the same angle as the CB chassis mounts which made it easy.
I think i paid the guy 150 to weld the 8 brackets to the RSX seat rails and to make it work. I basically brought him the seats and a ziploc bag of those brackets and an hour and a half later, I've got RSX seats like they were made for a CB7.

^^Driver side has adjustable height and lumbar too! which I think is a cool feature.Last edited by Losiracer2; 08-31-2015, 01:57 AM.

i had a pair of those rsx seats once. after getting em here i decided against them. the bottom seat cushion sucks. and it was leather, and heavy as hell. no go for track use. i ended up trading a guy for my corbeaus i have now with harness, and sliders straight up. he was too fat to fit in the corbeaus ig and just traded me. better deal and lighter seats.
