ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Black body molding

Does anybody know where to get new body moldings for a decent price or a way to paint them or something where they will be shiny black again?

I don't think you'd want to see the cost of new moldings from Honda.

A lot of people have used Mother's Back to Black on their moldings with good luck. Personally I find the shine wears off really fast. I use Meguiars Endurance Tire Shine (purple goo) on my moldings and I find that it works excellent for what I need it for.

I bought a kit from honda, for my 4 dr, and I paid something like 200CAN$ for it ( 250USD$?)

Pretty expensive I know, but I wasnt able to find any other possibilities,
and one they're painted and on the car, the Money you paid for it is far behind cause it looks way better I think

*but I assume that here, winters are hard, so thats the reason I couldnt find any used moldings in good condition...........maybe you should buy used ones, and paint them

painting them is very easy. just wetsand them with 400, then use primer/sealer. and then paint them with really any spraycan paint. if done right they'll look good and last a long time.

isnt canadian money worth less per unit than US money? making the canadian amount HIGHER than the respective worth in USD.

Ahhh my first stanking post, i hate being a newb.
I was going to do the same to my CB7, just a cheapo maaco or earl scheib job for me sicne its a commuter beater, i was considering, midnight blue, firepepper red(newer accords and acuras), and graphite grey(from the newer accords)....i personally think blue is the best, and im trying to match my beige/brown (dont ask) thrown together interior

whatever u decide, i hope it comes out good, i hope its reasonably priced, and pleaseeee post pics!!!!
