Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It'd be nice...but the base isn't shaped right for the CB. The base is too angled. Huy009 had a GSR wing on his car, and it looked "okay" but it just didn't do it for me, with the angles and what not.Originally posted by gloryaccordyI really wanna try that DC5 ITR wing...but it seems kinda silly for a 160HP car.

I just think the sqared off look would match the body of the CB. I could do some fiberglass work to line the bottom up. The main thing would be the angle of the blades and the width. I like the sleeper look though so I don't think I'll actually do it...that's a lot of money that could go into actual performance.Originally posted by AccordWarriorIt'd be nice...but the base isn't shaped right for the CB. ok..spoilers touch all the way across, they dont have space in between the trunklid and the spoiler. wings, however, do not touch the trunklid all the way across. they sit up on mounts of some sort. the oem wing, as on AccordWarrior's car, is just that, a wing. an OEM flushmount is a spoiler, as it touches all the way across.
on to the point of this post: i think that an OEM wing would look good only if the car has a lip of some sort. whether its an OEM EX lip or a legend lip, or a mugen lip, w/e needs to have a lip.
also, for the people that say that wings on a FWD vehicle are a waste, don't kid yourself. the whole idea of having an OEM wing on a car is to decrease the drag coefficient. otherwise, why would Honda put it on there to begin with? its not just for looks. also, a car doesnt have to have RWD or go over 140mph or w/e it is that people say to have an effective use of a wing. not only is a wing there to keep the rear wheels planted under acceleration (on a RWD car) but also to stabilize the whole vehicle under cornering, and also to help keep it going in a straight line. wings are effective at speeds as low as 35-40mph (the same speed at which aerodynamics begin to make a large impact on vehicle performance. Don't believe me..stick your hand out the window at 20mph, then do it again at 40mph. big difference.) again, the point of drag comes up. a car with a wing will have greater stability in straightaways, and have better braking and cornering than a car sans wing. (granted, this must be a proper wing setup, and not just a 15" double stack that Junior slapped on his cavy).

Actually I'm pretty sure the point of rear spoilers/wings is to create downforce, which almost always worsens the drag coefficient. The Audi TT had issues at Autobahn speeds that made it spin out, so they put a wing on it...it topped out lower but was a lot more stable.

on a RWD car, yes. that is true. honda accord=not RWD.Originally posted by gloryaccordyActually I'm pretty sure the point of rear spoilers/wings is to create downforce, which almost always worsens the drag coefficient. the shape of our beloved cb's is far from aerodynamically pleasing (i.e.-teardrop). my point is that the OEM wing will most likely calm vortices and air currents that otherwise would cause the drag coefficient to be higher. the more smoothly that the car slips through the air, the fast and mroe stable its going to be.

The ITR wing was functional. The same is the case for the front lip spoiler.
I highly doubt either the OEM wing or the oh so precious flushmount is actually functional in any way/shape/form.
glory, I totally agree with you on the ITR wing, it would look excellent on the body, but what I was trying to say is it really can't be adapted to the car. It's a bit narrow as is, and the spoiler posts are like this / \, while the CB piece is | | I honestly don't see how you could fiberglass the angles right, if you get my drift.
If by chance they make an ITR style for the DA, it will work perfectly. Any DA hatch spoiler will be the correct width for the CB.

Anything high, long and flat would work...however I'm scared it would look too "EVO"ish...

Honestly Yaw, I think you miss what I was getting at. I was talking about the actual way the wing mounts to the car.Originally posted by gloryaccordyDC2 Mugen wing...

The Accord spoiler is mounted in a way that the bases are parallel to the car...to the trunk line. The DC2 tapers towards the back of the car, so that the base of the spoiler is angledin a way that it'd be angled relative to the trunk seam gap. It just will look a little "off".

That's the GSR spoiler, which looks awesome on the car, but I just feel like as the spoiler get bigger, it's going to look a little more "off".
