ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

try putting a blanket on the windowsill, and well the thing is dynomat is HIGHLY overpriced, you would want to cover the trunk lid, and the entire trunk if that is possible for your budget, itll improve your listening alot. so theres a few ways we could go:

      second skin, http://www.secondskinaudio.com/

      fat mat, http://www.fatmat.com/

      raamaudio, http://www.raamaudio.com/

      hushmat, http://hushmat.com/

my personally would use secondskin or fatmat. hope that helpss

You wanna dynamat? heres an idea thats cheaper and works about the same...go to your local hardware store and get thompsons ice and water shield. Lay it on the same way you would do dynamat. same affect, fraction of the price. Shits heavy tho.

I go through my coupe every few months and tighten screws and bolts, shim things, basically find and eliminate rattles and buzzes. I've got Stinger Roadkill in the car and it helps, but anytime you have big vibrations, you're going to have to do some work to keep things tight.

dynomat is way too expensive. I put HVAC insulation on my trunk and under the rear deck. It is sold inrolls for cheap.I payed about 15 buck for the roll. It is 1/4" dense foam with a thick aluminum shell. It has a self adhesivebacking too. I used HVAC tape to seal the edges good and cover the seams. It made a world of differenc. I got some carpet that I will cover it with when I get a chance.e.

make sure lisence plates are tightened...that can cause a rattle.

if i dynamatted anything it would have to be removed or swapped out before track night. so it's pointless for me.

you can always isolate the rattle and make it stop. Tighten bolts, small pieces of cardboard to keep them from contacting. shit like that. I have dynamat on my plat though. that keeps it from rattling.

rubberized undercoating works good also you can buy it in spray cans at wal mart or any auto parts store.i sprayed the inside of my sub box and trunk on my old car and it worked great the only downside is it really messy until it dries
