ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

How do you replace your rear speakers?

I've never done anything like this before but I heard its easy as heck. Could anyone go into full detail on how to replace them? I also bought a Honda speaker adapter harness.

Theres 3 10mm nuts on each speaker pod, remove from inside the trunk.

Then push the pods out and unscrew the speakers from the pods.

What you mean speaker adapter harness??

Not to be rude but this shouldn't need explanation

If you can't handle replacing basic problem solving then you probably should be working on a car

Look at the speaker pod, its held in place. Whats holding it down? Look under it in the trunk. Oh there are some nuts holding it in. Loosen them and remove the pod. Now you still can't get to the speaker because the grille is still on it. How is it held down? Oh some easily removed screws. Remove those. Now the speaker is held down, how is it held down? Some more screws.

Was it really that hard to figure that out?

Taking the speakers out shouldn't be a problem at all, however, wiring etc. should be more of the problem which is why some people get it professionally installed.

          Here's the steps anyways:

1: Inside Trunk, 3 nuts, per speaker, undo the nuts.
          2: Unplug factory harness.
3: Lift whole bucket from top.
4: Unscrew grill (4 screws) from bottom of bucket.
5: Unscrew speaker (3 screws) from top of bucket.

If you need a shop to install speakers because the 2 wires you need to crimp (or better yet solder) ends onto is too confusing for you, just give up now.

He bought the adapters which is cool I didn't know what those were. So I dint know why you mentioned that frosty

                [QUOTE=Soufkackicustom;3111347]Well played sir....

As other members was saying 3pcs 10mm nut per speaker have to be remove under the shelf inside the trunk, remove the connection from the harness, pull upward from inside the car and your speaker is out.

To replace the speaker, remove the cover, maybe 3 or 4 small star screw from the speaker mounting have to be remove and your speaker is already out, replace it with new one (check the sound if working by connecting the socket into harness) if sound properly working then return those screws, nuts and the socket from the harness and your done. Enjoy listening.

In regards to the op's original question that has already been answered, 3 bolts per speaker, some screws, and about 5 minutes of your time per speaker is all it should take.
